• Physical - Development of Fine (small) and Gross (large) Motor Skills
• Intellectual - The process of making sense of the world around them
• Creative - The development of special abilities creating talents. Music, Art, Writing, Reading, and Singing are all ways for creative development to take place
• Emotional - Development of self-awareness, self-confidence, and coping with feelings as well as understanding them

 

 

At Safari Kid preschool we understand that every child has different strengths and levels of learning and believe that while structure is important,

it should not hinder growth.  Our programs are not designed by age groups but by their learning capacity.  We start by first evaluating your

child and enroll him/her in the program that is most suited for their current level.  Public speaking is an important part of all our programs

and we give your child several opportunities to perform in front of a large audience.

 

All our curriculum based programs are Accelerated Learning Programs.    The definition of

Accelerated Learning goes hand in hand with our mission.

Accelerated learning is the most advanced teaching and learning method in use today.  It's a total system for speeding and enhancing both the design process and the learning processes. Based on the latest brain research, it has proven again and again to increase learning effectiveness.

What makes accelerated learning center so effective is that it's based on the way we all naturally learn.  Accelerated Learning unlocks much of the potential for learning that has been left largely untapped by most conventional learning methods. It does this by actively involving your child, using physical activity, creativity, music, images, color, and other methods designed to get children deeply involved in their own learning.

Safari Kid preschool offers the following programs:

 

urbo Toddlers

Safari Kid accepts enrollments for children as early as 15 months (and they do not have to be potty trained).  We stimulate their minds with interactive learning, songs, poems, creative play and circle time.  We strongly encourage all children to start as early as possible and to please set an appointment to talk to our experienced staff to explain the benefits of introducing your child to our Turbo Toddler program.  It has been our experience that children who start this early, usually do exceptionally well through the rest of our advanced programs at Safari Kid and in school. 

 

ccelerated Learning I

This is our most popular program where your child is introduced to the basic concepts of phonics, numbers, shapes, colors, beginning sounds,  reading, logical thinking, tracing, public speaking, math and much more.  This program is specifically designed to build a strong foundation for your child.

 

ccelerated Learning II

We evaluate your child after every level and when they progress to this    program they are introduced to advanced concepts of reading, writing, math, critical thinking and much more.  Students graduating from this level are fluent readers and have the capacity to do first, second and/or third grade math and comprehensions.

 

fter School Program

This is one of our fastest growing programs.  We ensure that your child completes their assigned home work and we add value by providing a customized curriculum and extra curricular activities for every child.

 

rt Class

This is an excellent way to build Fine (small) and Gross (large) motor skills.  Children are introduced to basic and advanced concepts of drawing, coloring, modeling and painting.

 

hess Class

We also offer chess classes for different age groups and levels where children have to complete worksheets to understand concepts and strategies before implementing them in their games.  Children who are interested and attain a certain level are encouraged to participate in various tournaments. 

 

indi Class

Safari Kid offers a beginner and advanced level where children are taught to speak, read and write Hindi. 

 

 

ance Class

We offer Bollywood dancing for children as young as 2 years of age.  We have 3 different levels for children based on age group.  Our dance  students participate in various dance competitions all across the bay area.  We are proud to report that Safari Kid dance students have won numerous group and solo trophies in dance competitions.
